How to set up your own Wi-Fi network

As we all know Wi-Fi means a wireless internet access and majority of us surely came across almost one Wi-Fi network till now.

OS and Driver: Windows 7 OS will be preferred with latest version of Intel Wlan driver.


1)First of all click on the network notification icon on the  taskbar.


2)Then Click on Open network and security center there > Setup a new network.



3)From the box select Set up a wireless ad hoc network > Next
4)Give your network a name Select the security type of your network . If you choose open one want to connect your network will not need any password to access but for wep or wpa2-personal you will need password to prevent unknown access to network . Check the hide password option if you choose to make your network password secure and enter a password.


 5)After entering the password check save this network and click next. It will take some time then a Box with confirmation will appear . Select the share internet access from there and its finally done.

 For sharing internet connection another users should turn on their wlan adapter and join your network. With this trick you can share your internet connection with your friends.
